I think everyone is confused because the pictures you posted look like an RTX SE. The fox Evols front shocks, little SE blue windshield and white handguards. It looks just like a SE.
As for tracks, depends if you plan on running studs. If you plan on studding, then the tallest I would go is 1.375 (1 3/8") Do a search on Ebay for "sno pro track" and you will see a link for the track I recommend you get. Its a very tough durable track, excellent for studding.
I don't recommend a cobra. It works well, but is very soft, I don't think its tough enough, especially for studding. But that is only my opinion.

That would be a nice surprise! I will check the paperwork and report back. The paperwork does say Nytro RTX. It has a teather, does that mean anything. It would be sweet if it was an SE. What else should I look for?

From the looks of that sled, the numbers, having a tether, and the long snow flap...it looks like a race sled. Its basically set up for racing. It looks like it has little snow deflectors next to the headlight and windshield...They look like they would be there to deflect the roost of the guy in front of you. Never seen that before.Doesn't mean that it was raced though. It looks really clean!
It sure looks like an SE. It looks like it has the updated tunnel with bigger holes for snow evacuation. The standard RTX I believe only had like 1" kinda circular holes on the running boards.

You said you run 90 percent trail? or off trail? Nice sled by the way, it''s looks really clean.

Alright.... THis is what I would do if you want to change the track.... I would strech it to a 128" and put on a 1" predator or hacksaw or if you get alot of snow in the areas that you ride, then get the 2 ply Cobra fully clipped. But IMO, all of the 121" tracks should be a 128", hense that is the reason the 2011 is a 128" track. I would not bother with the 1.25 ripsaw as I believe the 1" predator is a better track in softer conditions and just as good or better on top end as the ripsaw. Now if Top end is not a big deal to you, then for sure I would say put the 128" 2 ply Cobra on it and it will rock...

Not sure, but I believe Ulmer Racing makes a 128" kit for the Nytro and so does Tracks USA.

Cost to go to 128" will only be the cost of the rail extensions, since you don't have to stretch your tunnel. I've never bought only rail extension but I would guess probably about 130 bucks.
The predator is a good track, very good track. If you are looking for top speed I agree with sledfreak, and get the 1" predator. Tracksusa.com has them on sale right now for dirt cheap.
If you are looking for more traction for acceleration and braking, and some off trail performance, but don't care about top speed (if 100mph is enough), then go for the sno pro track.
I wouldn't go to 128", I can't see 3 extra inches on the ground doing a whole lot. Plus you are very limited in your track choices. Basically limited to the Cobra or a prestudded track. And they are all junk if you ask me, cobra included. Never seen a Predator in 128" length either.

It's your money, but I'd say ride it before you make any big changes. The cheap route on the track, if you don't like the 1.75 lugs (and the reason you won't is you may not be able to keep Hyfax on your sled riding mostly trails), is to trim them down, which is not hard to do with some guides and a saw.
You'll be $600+ into a new track and 128" extensions just to get one extra lug on the ground. I like the 128" track idea but as an upgrade I'd skip over it and go to a 136" for the same coin and more bite.

I dont know what teh big deal is in the 128" either, I have a 240hp apex that is a 121" and it hooks up just like any other sled I have had from 60hp to this monster. Only difference is it carrys the skis past a 100 mph and gets there in like 4 seconds LOL
If that is a backcountry track it will be horrible on a icey trail curve, one guy in our pack had that last year and couldn't keep up. I run a cobra with 144 studs and its a great track. The 1.25" predator with 144 studs is good off trail and on and you seem to ride similar to me with more on trail time then off.
Like the blue tunnel reinforcements, looks good!

128"???? On Chris Reid's blog from Yamaha Canada, he said the reason Yamaha switched to the 128" track was that they said the Yamaha 4 strokes are actually spinning the track up to 85mph and I believe it, because my 121" Apex GT was just a slug in softer snow conditions, but get it on hard ground with good long studs and it was a missle.... I run primariliy 95 percent groomed trails and 5 percent lakes. The 128" will give you the better balance in handling and traction.
I had the Cobra on my Apex it really woke it up in looser snow conditions, but hurt it a little on top end (3-4mph) and that's in perfect conditions. I put 2000 miles on it, before I sold the sled. I will be putting it on my sled next season, but not this up and coming one, since I want to do a lot of testing to see what my Nytro will really do this year for top end with the stock ripsaw. PM "BadSled", he stretched his Apex GT to a 128" and put a Cobra track on it and he said it was a bullet with no issues... There is a reason Arctic Cat runs 128" tracks and it is one of the reasons why the FireCat chassis is an excellent drag racer....
