Fellas,
I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse somewhat but can you guys give input on which carbides are good? I'm coming off precision ski's so in left field in the single carbide world!!

I havent riden this yet, not even in the yard :o| and suspecting the stock 4"er isnt going to last to long.. Bergstrom sure doesnt have good things to say about this new ski (at least to the Nytro) is that creditable?

I would like to ride this a bit before I jump to a new ski entirely.

Snow can start any freakin time now :exc:

Thanks, Robert

Had Woodys doolies on the last 2 yrs, worked well with a little pushing in the corners, gonna try some shaper bars this year. That is IF WE EEEVVVEEERRR GETSOME SNOW.... :die :die

i ran 9inch shaper bars last year on stock skis, this year ive got 8inch slydogs with 7.5 inch shaper bars that im dying to try.the stock carbides on the stock skis dont seem to be enough.9inch seemed to work good

I had great luck with Roetin brand carbides, have 6" on now but studded this year so might have to bump them up to 8". Great bite and tracked well without darting all over hell. Tried the doolie carbides with less then satisfactory results, pushed horrible and were very unpredictable. Had sharper bars on but the little chunk of carbide on the toe of the bar caught on just about everything with the feeling of any minute your going to snag on something and bend the sub frame or bend the a arms off the sled. Railroad crossings were the worst and very nerve-racking.

Studboy shaper bars, had the dualies, they were good but shaper bars with C&A Outlaw ski's and zero issues.
