Hi guys! New at this forum.. I have som electrical problems with my nytro. Its a Mcx 270 turbo.
I stopped it after driving a few miles and now it wont start again.
Have checked the fuses. and the starter relay. I put a jumper from the battery to the lead to the starter
and it wont kick in. The starter relay seems fine.
I have lights in my instruments and its showing errorcode 12. I have a fully charged battery. and the fuelpump is ok.
Any ideas?

Sometimes a bad ground will cause it to read wierd codes as well. I certainly wouldn't be messing around with the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I would mess will wiring harness. Maybe disconnect and reconnect some stuff and see what you come across.

Might add that it could possibly be a relay on the side near the battery. Get in there and see if you hear a click or can feel one of them click when you turn the key.
My wife's phazer threw that code, and all that had happened was the darn grounding block where all the wires come in to get grounded had melted. Bad ground was causing another system to fail and throw a different code.
Just a thought.........
