I am used to the 136 on a viper. Was going to make it a 144.

Since it is a Apex. Just wondering thoughts on going that long on a Apex

Thank you for the help

Here’s a couple

We've had a 144 apex in the stable for years now. I still think it is the best track length for that sled. The shorter lengths want to spin and the longer ones are a little bit like driving a bus (a quick, fast, fairly nimble bus)

Thanks everyone for their input. Sounds like a 144 is a good choice. Tired of spinning so much and don't want studs.

be careful on the year of apex as they changed the driver pitch in 2016.

had 1-1/4" ripsaw on the 2011 apex xtx (144" track) for 14000 mi and loved it. as a compsit 1-1/2" track was cheaper than a ripsaw, that is what i put on it when i replaced it. gf loves it so far but i have not gotten a chance to ride it hard yet this season to see the improvement.

still have the stock 1-1/4" ripsaw on the 16 and will wait to replace it with another 1-1/2" track when it wears out. i do prefer the 11-15 skis over the 16-18 skid as it turns/handles a lot better in the trails.
