162" Apex on the trails?

Found a Apex i like but has a 162 Ez ride skid and 2.5" track under her. Could i cut the lugs down and run her on the trails or no way?

What kind of trails? For really tight, twisty trails it'll be tougher to ride.

But it's probably a heck of a mountain/ off trail sled.

Pro116 did just that. He cut a 2nd track to 1.25, and had no issues. I rode with him a couple times and can attest to his being able to whip that thing around corners!!

So it can be done! I bet it is great in the bumps? Yes??? And drag racing on the lakes it hooks well yes? It has a big turbo on it.

i rode tomseals mountain apex in muni in 07 and had no problem with it isn the trails and it was modded to 1-1/4" lug. would out pull his 2002 srx on take off when we went head to head and it did not matter who was driving it.

Ive spent a bunch of time in island park with other family's that do nothing but trails on those days i don't wish for a shorter track, I think the 162 has great trail manners other than wtf flashing in my display all was good
