162 to 144

I rode my Mtn Max 141 this weekend for a Poker Run. Pretty much decided that that's about all I really need. See guys going from 121 to 144. Not a big fan of the Nytro package but might have to go to the XTX.
So, can I take my Apex Mtn 162 and make it a 144 ?

I have a buddy that is doing the same thing, a little work involved but here's the basics.

- custom rails from Ice Age or 05 Viper Mtn Rails
- different clutching/gearing
- different drivers possibly, depending on gear selection
- remove tunnel extension, and modify or order a new one (Hartman etc)
- new heat exchangers, short track version.
- new track, obviously

Not sure if I missed anything, but that's the basic stuff.

May just have to keep the old Mtn Max for those times I need a short track. Who would have thought you could call a 141 a short track? LOL

you are a lucky bugger living up there too. I have to kick and scream just go riding around our little mountain back home. Its only every wednesday for me and thats if we have enough snow((

Oh yes, ride here but thats on a borrowed sled m7 144" and only for a few months. I miss my apex back in OZ Nothing like a 4 stroke.
