Presently I'm averaging 15 MPG on my Warrior and I would like to see it get 17 MPG! I read a post recently by RX Wonder dropping his needles down one notch to improve gas mileage. He stated that it had no ill effect on the machine and that the sparkplugs where burning a good color.
any feedback on this subject would be appreciated. 8)

I'm getting just shy of 20mpg but am also not riding at high speed. I haven't made it to Canada this year - YET.
I've kinda lost track of how many miles you have now since your various posts are before /after trips where you do a few hundred miles but I would like to suggest a few things:
1) Track tension- Yamaha spec is too tight. Raise rear and check for about 1" of hang at the middle of the skid frame.
2) Track alignment- try to get it perfectly centered to minimize friction.
3) Have you changed your chaincase oil? I would very highly recommend Mobil 1 or other synthetic.
IMHO. these things should be checked first - then start in on the jetting since most have found the Genesis engine jetting to be pretty good.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for the feedback you all! But I'm still looking for anyone that might have made these changes to the jetting to get some real world feedback. I'll have to PM RX Wonder.

Non-broken in engine running Freddies kit, I averaged 16.2 for 350 miles of every condition you would ever find yourself in.
