just got back from a weekend snowmobiling in Mont Valin
put on 300 rough km (very bumpy)
i have woodys 1.325 studs and didnt have any issues
the acceleration is incredible, kinda scared myself a couple of times
power steering makes the sled feel 250lbs lighter
fox mega float was set to hard for my liking will have to soften it
all in all a very well balanced sled, never felt tippy or out of controle,
very happy with the purchase

cant wait to get out again

What PSI in your Floats & Megafloat. PSI on the ground or weight off?

Glad to hear no stud issues.

Thanks! Everytime I hear the positive feedback on the 2011 Apex, I would love to break the bank and get one. It will be interesting on waiting till next year to see if anyone will be selling one and what the depreciation market value will be? Thanks for the update and can't wait to test drive one....or maybe I shouldn't LOL
;)!

Good to hear your report. I have to go pick up my new Apex XTX, especially since were off to what looks to be a great season here in lower MN. about 23" fresh powder here last Sat. on top of 8" previously. Another batch coming this week.

Really surprised to hear that as I heard they groomed everyday and then some?

Were some groomers down or did it have anything to do with the Farmer issues?

Its that its one of the few places ofificially open. The traffic on the trails especially on the weekend is crazy.

They can't keep it nice too many sleds right now(weekends).

Just like a good old fashioned weekend in old forge, ny
Same trouble there.

Mt Valin is sweet just not weekends. (you do what you need to do for a ride)

They groom alot for sure it is true.
They get alot of snow too so they have to.

What PSI in your Floats & Megafloat. PSI on the ground or weight off?

I think I was at 190 psi on mega float, weight off
I put 5 psi more than suggested on floats in front and in rear,
I think the rebound was set to hard also

Glad to hear no stud issues.
