2 Up Seat options?

I think if you get under the tunnel and test fit the piece in place you will find that the length of the top horizontal portion of that bracket is not interfered by the tunnel heat exchangers.

Errr

It fits. It did on my sled. I suspect it will on yours.

How do you know where to drill from the top because the radiator is in the way? You can't drill from below through the bracket?
(You need to center the top hole against the bracket for the rivets)
Or did you drilled from the top through the bracket when the bracket was already mounted?

I don't remember exactly. I remember putting a lot of thought into it and being careful not to drill through anything other than the tunnel. I don't remember it being too challenging. I probably made stick on templates for drill locations (CAD, printer, double sided tape).

I installed one on the wife's Viper to take my then 9 year old (10 now) and it did not work at all for him, to properly brace yourself you need to have your feet planted on the boards to hold yourself in position and he did not even come close. he was bouncing out of the seat on every bump and did not feel safe...

this was toward the end of last season, I will revisit in the fall as to some foot brackets to add to the running boards...

Agreed passenger needs to be able to engage running boards with feet and legs to be comfortable. Kimpex offers at least 2 solutions. Otherwise passenger has to hold on to pilot.

I have a 2017 L-TX DX 137. I was looking at a jack seat. What suspension changes need to be made to accommodate 2 adults? Can the sled hold ~ 400lbs?

You could go with a different torsion spring. We have not ridden 2up enough to go beyond setting the std torsion to the stiffest setting.

I appreciate the advise. I see there is an "overload kit" for loads greater than 300 lbs designed for a 146" machine. My Sidewinder is a 137", and we together would be closer to 400 lbs. I don't want to destroy my machine either if it is too much weight. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge weather this is possible, or too forget attempting this modification?
