2005 RX1 Mountain seat conversion help

Ok. I know some of you have changed the stock seat to a different setup. I'm 6-4 and I need a taller sitting position. My seat cover is ripped and due for a new cover. I would rather convert it to something taller. Please, if you know exactly what parts I need let me know and I'll start gathering.

well the popular mod was to put a 2006-2010 apex seat or a 2006-2007 rs nitro seat onto it. you have to trim the fuel tank cover and replace the wiring harness or at least the ends for the tail lamp. you would usually need to add a 2" riser to keep bars at same height but i know a 4" riser will fit with 05 rx mtx cables and hoses on it. did it to a 05 rx war. other option is to get a wrp seat kit and use your seat pan to acheive the same results.
