Hi, I was wondering if anyone here knew of a conversion kit or where to buy parts to change my current RSvector seat to the 06 Nytro seat.

He's the best source I've found. A lot of people on this site buy from him. Let us know how it goes!

Yep for sure! Put an Apex seat on my 05 Vector. OMG what a difference!

I wouldn't call it "hard" by any means. I admit to being anal about things being done clean and correctly. Lot's of threads here about the conversion.
You have to trip the gas tank shroud. Easy to do with a small Dremel tool. Can send you a template if you promise to return it.
IMO - you will need a riser for your handlebars. How much taller is up to you. Peeps here say if you go higher than 2" you have to change the cables and I absolutely agree. I also changed the brake hose to an aftermarket longer braided hose. I didn't want any cable or hose to be stretched at all.
If you like. PM me your email address and I can email you the pics I have of the install.
Next to putting a different skid in the back (that is if you're a trail rider like me) this is the best upgrade on this machine....IMO.

what exactly bothers you about the seat? If you don't wanna go through all the trouble of swapping out styles, you can take the original seat to almost any upholstery shop and have them add/remove foam and recover it for less then a new seat if thats a route you want to look at as wellHi, I was wondering if anyone here knew of a conversion kit or where to buy parts to change my current RSvector seat to the 06 Nytro seat.

It's more that I prefer the higher seat and more rider forward positioning that the apex seat has to offer. It fits better with my style of riding.

Fair enough, being an 05' that seat has had 10 years of who knows whos #*$&@ pounding up and down on it, the foam could be pretty flattened out, i would swing by an upholstry shop and tell them what you wanna do and ask how much it is.
Otherwise do what these guys said and go with the conversion. I think the seat will run you 4-500$ plus shipping and whatever time/material to mod it to accept the seat. I've seen a reupholstered and a boss replacement seat side by side and i would pick the reupholstered 100% of the time but thats just me lol. When my friend had his done, they asked what he wanted, placed some different sizes and kinds of foam on and he got exactly what he wanted, and he got to see what it felt like before having it done which was nice, especially if your a taller guy

You can get a good used seat from Travis for under $300.

I found my seat for around $100. Just have to watch for one of the nytro/apex guys upgrading to a mountain seat.

They can be had for sure! Craigslist, eBay, etc. can be your friends.
