2006 nytro snow flap

My 06 nytro with the stock flexible snow flap seems to let a lot of snow dust fly enough that my jacket is covered in snow dust I was wondering if the rigid snow flap on the 07 or newer solves this and if any one else has the same problem

On my 05 Vec with the tall Venture w/shield and touring flare kit, the wind swirls around my back, and if I'm riding in fresh(er) snow, my back will get covered with snow. A friend commented to me this year about it. I'm running the shorter snow flap....put it on in 07....didn't make a difference. I've always been able to feel the cold on my back.
