was suggested spoked style palstic idler wheels SMA-8FP38-01 to solve my inner idlers from failing... (three times) in 1600 miles i might add. Any thoughts on this? I think dan sent me a message last year re doing this change and said they are durable. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated... other than that the sled is ready for snow !!!!!!

I replaced all 6 of the small idlers on my attak with these wheels. After the stock inside ones were replaced under warranty after less than 200 miles with the all plastic 2005 style, I put on about 3500 trouble free miles. In doing my fall preventive maintenance I found several of them had rough bearings and since the bearings can't be replaced on the stock wheels I replaced them with the wheels you mentioned that have replaceable bearings. These wheels are about 1/2 the cost of the stock wheels and look cool too. Have to wait for snow now to tell the durability.

I'm in the same boat, but I did use the other Yam wheels last year in the rear inner location. Had to machine the holders and all. I got about 4000 miles on it know and the bearings were toast. Not bad but don't know exactly when they went. I figured rather than spend more and have to machine all the holders I would try the spoke wheel this year in all ut the two rears (already machined so have to stick with wider bearing now). We'll let you know how it goes.

Were's the snow? :o| :o|

Screw the wheels dont need them. Mine have been bad for about 1,000 miles hyfax wear is fine.
