2007 phazer dropping rpm then shutting off

I have a 2007 phazer gt. Has alot of kms on it 20000+. I am having issues with it and trying to figure it out and am stumped. It will start great-runs at high idle then goes down to around 16-1700rpm. Once I start applying throttle on the stand or riding it, occasionally it will drop rpms to 1200 and shut off. I have replaced spark plugs, fuel pump relay and even installed a good known used fuel pump in it(thinking it was losing fuel pressure) runs better but still acting up- any advise or have any of you come across this?

Have you tried going into diagnostic mode and checking the throttle position sensor operation and adjustment? Maybe it's dropping the lower end of the readings.

I have not yet tried that-good idea. I'm not sure how to get into the diagnostic mode
