Hi I have read about it before but am just looking for some quick answers. I have a 2007 phazer mtn lite, I want to upgrade the springs in the skid, from what year and model can i order the springs from, if possible what are the part numbers. thanks!

The springs for the Phazers are universal as far as I know. I put '08 RTX springs in my skid. I believe those are the 2500 NM springs. I have heard that the 2100 NM springs are the ticket for the Mtn Lites. On Babbits.com the part number is 8GK-47473-00-00 and 8GK-47474-00-00 for the 2100 L&R. If you're looking at this to solve the bottoming issue, and/or haven't replaced the POS shock the factory supplied. I would look for a new rear shock instead. If you just need the springs for better set-in then go for it.
Yes shock is the problem.Not springs.

Ideally you want JUST enough spring to put the rear suspension arm exactly 1/2 between the coupler blocks. My 09' MTX will only sag the rear bumper about 1" with just the machines weight on the skid if I pick the back end up and gently set it back down. With me on it, it will have about 4" of sag which is a bit too much as it over 1/2 to the coupler block with the springs set to High. On low it will actually touch the coupler block. I weight 195# with riding gear and plan on trying the GT "2100nm" springs for next year. Too much spring give too much rebound and causes the nasty "Kick" that some people complain about on the short track side unless you upgrade the rear shock to one with alot more rebound control.
