I hate to bring up an older thread but my H arm had a crack in it that I found this past week and it was right on the left side where you broke yours Viperman. I got the $350 update so now time to test it out.. also the steel link that was replaced with the billet link snapped the end right off at the bolt.

Carma does suck. I just reported having my first issue on another thread about not having to use my YES warranty very much at all.
I took my 07 in for the guide wheels failing in the rear. The dealer said my w-arm (h-arm) has been cracked in half and the bolt going through is holding it together.
They are going to sell me the suspension upgrade kit for $326 and labor. What is the number to Yamaha customer support and is it worth calling and asking for that update to be paid for minus labor?
It sound like those that had the link fail before the arm may have gotten it covered. Will I have any luck in my case?
Thanks for your help.

Hey guys..just putting my kit together now after noticing a big sag in my suspension when taking it out of storage. do any of you have a manual or link to show how to put together? i got a shaft (part number 8ES-47486-00) that looks too short for anywhere on my suspension...im thinking where the two centre boggies go but not 100%. let me know please
Yes you got it right. The bogeys and the Pivot go on that shaft. It is ChromeMoly or tool steel and much less flexible than original shaft.

it happens to other brands too. On my Polaris RMK I weakened and broke the front torque arm the same way these ones tear.
