I'll be getting a new sled for next year. One I am considering is a Vector LTX.

A local dealer in NH has a leftover 2010 LTX for a decent price. Ordering a 2012 is going to be $1500 more (but includes the spring deal 3 year warranty, etc)

Anyone that owns a 2010/11 been able to demo a 2012?

Other than the power steering did you notice any other differences in handling or ride? It sounds like the seat is a little taller, is that correct?

The front shocks no longer have reserviors and the rear suspension doesn't have the quick adjust. Not sure if this is for the better (or cost cutting).

Trying to decide if the 2012 is worth the extra coin.

Thanks....

With the 2012 having PS its day and night. My dad order a new one just because of the of the PS he said its day and night and with the right ski it will be unstoppable. And with the 3 years of Y.E.S its worth 1500 more.

I have to agree, with EPS and 3 yrs warranty, $1500 isn't too bad imo.

I rode a 2011 EPS Apex and would love to own a 2012 EPS Vector, it works amazing!

Just stopped by my local dealer to ask about the early spring program and also the price on a 2012 Vector LTX and he told me that I could get a 2012 for 10,250 plus tax and reg. not a bad price is it?

http://www.troycitygarage.com/snowmobiles.htm has them for $10,065 OTD. From what I have seen that is about the lowest I will find in the New England area.

So 10,250 at your local dealer sounds good.

I will buy local, and end up spending a few hundred more. But having a comparison to keep everyone honest is nice.
