2011 apex se seat removal

Aybody know how the new style seat on a 2011 apex se is removed , Picures if possible

It's pretty easy, look inside the rear of the seat, 2 - 12 mm bolts, that's it, slide it off and your done.

you don"t have to remove any of the exhaust coverings or tail lite stuff

Nope, not to remove the seat.

Thanks so much , my reason is to access the muffler , I have a chance to get a aftermarket muffler that will save me 5 pounds and I think just the seat and muffler shield is all that needs to be removed to get at it
