Schmidt bros has a nice set-up. Noticeable difference on my '13XTX compared to my '11SE.

Smoother take off, can enter in and out of a garage without spinning the track. Doesn't annihilate the track as much out of the hole for better take-off. Not hard to install at all. I lost some top-mph with the Ulmer kit. Went to the Schimdt bros. and have a faster speed on the gauge. But then again, I also had them overdrive my primary, which may have been a big factor in that too. But as far as install, if you can turn a wrench, you can definitely install their setup. How hard to install. What's so nice about the schmidt? setup

i've got the spring as well as the clutch kit from Schmidt for my 2011 XTX. works good and the clutch kit has good strong mid-range pull but i was over revving by 150-200 rpms or so, so i added weight to the tips but haven't had a chance to try it again.
if just the spring is all you need then i would think the BOP spring would be a good option as well. seems to be a lot of people on here that have it and really like it as well.
