2011 Apex speedometer question

Just curious how accurate the speedo is on the newer sleds? I seen 114 MPH last week. I had a 2004 Warrior with the dream meter!

Does anyone know what year Yamaha improved their speedo accuracy?

My Attak over indicated by approx. 14% !!!.

I removed 2 teeth of speedo gear and its now much closer.

Just got back from plowed lake run. Saw 185 km/h (.6214x185=114.96 mph) before final tuck and gps read 114mph. 2011 Apex SE.

Just check my 2014 SE with a GPS and its 4mph off every were. My buddy was with me and he as a 2011 Apex XTX and it is the same 4 mph off.

On my 2011 Apex SE, speedo read 100 while GPS Showed 98.2 MPH. On my old 2007 Apex, when I had 100 on the speedo, the GPS read 88.6 MPH

My '11 XTX seems to be about 3-4 mph fast too according to GPS.
