I am now setting up my new 2012 XTX. Did Yamaha finally upgrade the handwarmers on the newer Apex's so they actually keep your hands warm? On my older Apex & Nytro's, I upgraded to Yamaheaters. Is this needed on newer EPS models?

They are much improved...my understanding is that the stator pumps out more power than the previous generation Apex.
