I'd be happy to ride that for you when it is finished!!!

Are your running boards square to the tunnel? (90 degrees) Would there be an advantage to tipping them up a few degrees since they won't be collecting any snow anyway?
Great build, btw.. so fun to watch it taking shape.

They're tipped up, but only a degree or two and its because I had two ratchet straps and bungee cords holding everything tight while I tacked. I think tipping them up too much might put weird stresses on your feet.
On an unrelated note I ordered 153 Ice Age rails today and I should have the track sometime this week.

Fantastic job. What are you plans for cooling?

I'm going to remove the u-cooler from my other sled and cut it up to fit this one. The coolant supple & return lines will run down the inside the tunnel and come out in the same spot as a factory sled. This will clean things up under the hood even more since I won't have the return tube crossing over my tunnel in front of the gas tank anymore.

I got complaints from both my riding partners about the looks of my rear running board supports but they will have to live with it (though I do appreciate their criticism). There were a couple reasons I did it the way I did. Simplicity and strength while still using 1/2" .035 tube were the main ones. Though straight tubes might not look the best, they are the strongest, and my goals are still maximum strength at minimum weight.
There will be 29 rivets sucking the .040 to the 1/2" bar wrapping around the tunnel.
Got the rear trimmed up for my bumper. I'll swap the aluminum for some 1" .035 chromoly when I get back next week. There will be two small 1/2" tubes tying the 1" to the upper 1/2" tunnel cap.
Next week I'll finish the bumper, front running board supports, and start on my gas tank/seat/turbo frame which I got planned out today. Just didn't have the chromoly to start it.

How much room is there between the back bumper and tunnel, looks tight to get a hand and glove in there.

Enough for a gloved hand.
