I'm getting ready to change the rear suspension in my xtx which I find to be harsh and stiff. I picked up a set of nytro torsion springs this summer and I guess I need to get a set of spring spacers from Hygear? I thought I would try this before going the Starr route as I don't really want to go to an uncoupled suspension. Any advice out there? Also, how do u remove the suspension from the sled?

well when i do it, with rear of sled suspended and lower pannels removed
1-loosen rear axle and back off track tension all the way.
2- unload the torsion springs.
3- unbolt rear crossshaft and lay assembly flat. may have to tie down if your shock is in good shape.
4- unbolt front shaft and either raise rear more or compress front arm to remove skid from in track.
after the years of muscleing a proaction in and out, usually only takes me 15min to get mine out when i need to and 15-20 min to get back in by myself. proaction would take 1/2hr to an hour to get in some times.
