- 2015 Viper STX-DX
Hi All, I recently picked up a 2015 STX-DX with only 76km's on it. I was wondering what psi I should set the rear fox air shock at, I am 5'10 185lbs. Also is there any other adjustments or settings I should change?
Thanks in advance

I have the same machine, and just got back from a 5 day 1755km trip. Had every kind of condition imaginable. Rode on everything from perfectly groomed trails to ungroomed 6' powder, and huge drifts. Absolutly love this machine, and the only thing i will change is to go to a wider ski next year.
I'm 6' 3" and go 250 dressed. Ski shocks are adjusted up 26 threads from the bottom to the locking nut. Front skid shock is 11 threads from the bottom to the locking nut, and the fox air shock is at 120 lb measured with the skid in the air. Sled has 5320 km on it now and ran it's top speed on this trip of 153km/h with full gear bags and spare gas tank.
Enjoy the new ride

Congratulations on the new sled! I have a 2015 STX-DX as well.
I'm 210 lbs without gear, I set the front spring pre-load with 2" of sag and like the rear shock set between 140-145 psi. That pressure is with the sled in the garage around +8 C, not sure how much temperature affects the readings.
I haven't adjusted the rear front shock.
I agree with the post above, wider skis would be nice for more floatation off trail.
Great sled, hope you enjoy it!

Hey thanks Willy & DK7,
do you guys recomend any mods to the sled like the 4th wheel kit or an aftermarket exhaust can?

I haven't found the need to add a 4th wheel, nor a can. I think it sounds pretty good and wouldn't want it any louder.
It is a pain to have to remove the exhaust can to adjust the chain tensioner though. I've been using anti-seize on the gasket and able to re-use it.
I just replaced the stock runners (2,000km) and replaced them with some ATS 5" carbides and am very pleased with them!

4th wheel kit, semi agressive snowtrackers, basic V pattern studding, Thunder Products belt removal/ adjuster, Dupont slides.
