1980 Exciter 300
When starting cold, always had to give it a little throttle and then hold the throttle while it warmed up. Then it would be ok for the day. Near the end of the season, it would also stall when coming to a stop. It would start right back up as long as you gave it a little throttle. It was at my dealer in Dec 2019 and I thought he put the latest flash on it. Is there anything else to do to fix this?

How many miles? Sounds like valves need adjusted.

Adjust the throttle cable..

Agreed, you need to check your valve clearance
I agree with all you guys. Check throttle cable adjustment first then if that's good Valves.
Also don't forget about old or bad gas. Especially now. Bad gas can easily foul a plug especially one that is on its way out anyway. Get as much of last years fuel out.
