My dealer has one on floor. I noticed a few changes. SHOCKS they are the 3 position Foxes. Coil over with rezzy front and rezzy rear. I bet these are going to be huge improvement. Rebound seemed perfect and the 3 position lever clicker is very noticeable difference between 1-3. These are real deal. Not some gimmick. Simple. The pyramid tubes have different ends by seat. Seat heater on it. Nice looking tunnel graphics.

I am sorry mistitled it. Should be LE! Your exact sled. I think you are going to be very happy! Should I take some pics for you?

I looked at a 2016 LTX-LE last week. Cannons right, you're gonna love it. Little windshield is badass! Like the graphics better than the 15, but no orange. I've waited thirteen years for Yamaha to do blue and orange:yam:

Ya! That bad #*$&@ windshield is going to look good in the garage hanging up. I am going to get something large to block the cold air.lol
TFF.....granny window here I come.

I'll probably be lookin for a baby one so I don't have clip the wings on 15 low shield. Hand guards are a must if you run the little one. Anything below 10F and your finger tips get chilly!

I still like to feel the wind. Keeps me from going too fast. Must be the 20 year old mind trapped in the 47 year old body. Maybe at 50 the tall windshield will look more attractive:brrr:

It must take 50 years to smarten up and be warm instead of looking cool. LOL

I rode the 2016 LTX LE last Saturday and this Viper is SPOT ON with the new suspension and upgrades!! I've ridden all year SR Viper models (excluding mountain) and have "never" been impressed with the handling of them until NOW!! The 2016 LTX LE is hands down the best handling SR Viper to date and don't disagree til you ride one, it handles better than any sled I've driven to date including apex's w/power steering and revs. Pretty much went from one of the worst handling sleds to can't get much better. I immediately felt a difference getting on this one from previous years. The seat felt great and is higher which kept my knees from jamming into the side panels. I atleast had 5 or more inches of space where other years my knees were always rubbing into the side panels which I dislike. The handle bars are up higher and felt good. My confident levels were all ready up and I hadn't even flicked the throttle yet. First thing I noticed while driving was power is up. More responsive and crisp down low and pulls harder and longer up top. It felt much more stable while accelerating in the straights at high speeds with no darting to speak of. I could execute corners beautifully while in the throttle with no pushing which is a huge improvement over every other Viper I've driven in the past. I also noticed it steers very effortlessly and the front and rear suspension is best yet. I was grinning from ear to ear driving the new Viper LTX LE which has never happened for me on a Viper before. I also rode a 2015 MPI turbo'd Viper and I will say it pulled great up top, but didn't handle nearly as well as the 2016. I could hardly get the turbo sled into boost in the twisty's and with the lack of handling and comfort that the 2016 had ,I opted to ride the 2016 over the turbo. The 2016 LTX LE had more useable power down low than the 2015 MPI turbo sled had. I could go on all day about this machine, even if it is a Yamacat. No joke guys, you gotta try one!!

Glad to hear your happy experience MX3. I plan on spring ordering one of these. I am nervous about trading in my beloved Nytro XTX that has taken me a few years to dial in with tuner skis, etc, but I think it will be the right decision. I am hoping that on the soft setting the LE shocks are really soft and complaint for when the trails get beat up at the end of a day which is common where I ride. I thought I was going to switch to a ski doo Enduro, cause they discontinued the GSX platform this year and I wanted Air Ride. I rode (at the NH snodeo demo day this weekend) a Renegade with a Ace 900 and the engine has a pronounced lag to it but otherwise OK power. It was not fun, more utilitarian. The handling for me was also typical "all over the place" skidoo. I did test ride last years GSX and the chassis was comfortable, planted and predictable, but discontinued! Just for fun I went to the Yamaha booth and decided to test ride a viper LTX SE and DX and man I was back home! I am not a top speed guy, but a twisty trail old man who likes the thrill of hammering the throttle for short bursts. The snappy instant torquey power is almost Nytro like, with a slightly different (possibly higher rpm engagement?) clutch feel. I loved the sled, but they had no LE to try with the 3 click shocks. The viper for me on my short test ride felt so much lighter and well balanced than my Nytrol XTX tail sled. I love everything about the LE model including the heated seat and Red or Blue color choices, but I also will be upgrading to a tall ol' man windshield.

I feel you will spend much less time dialing in the Viper LTX LE than your Nytro and more time riding. Can't go wrong with the LE man, I absolutely couldn't find any faults in it, or improvements it needed. I also rode @ the Snodeo in Colebrook and rode the very under powered Ace 900. All those doo's were under powered for that matter. The 600 and 800 Etec's just don't impress. As a past owner of MXZ's and Mach Z's, must say I don't care for where doo has gone with their quality and performance. I'd jump right back on the old school ZX and CK3 chassis though before I'd purchase a new doo.

From what I understand with reviews from the press and other riders, these new coil-over shocks are a must for any Viper.

I was chatting with one of the most knowledgeable yamaha guys running the Demo rides and he recommended coil overs over the Float air shocks. I just hope the Viper LTX - LE 3 clicker Fox 1.5 Zero QS3 Front shocks are a good match , and Fox 2.0 Zero QS3 rear shock (based on info from CAT's ZR 6700 Limited web Page) seem pretty sweet.

I have ordered a L-TX LE this week. I hope that it will be as MX3-RYDER said :) I also hope that chaincase issue will be corrected on this model.
I really look forward to the next fall. cannondale27 can you post some pics of it please?

Oh sorry I forgot to get some pics. I will get some Monday when I come back from last TY ride in Munising.
