Hello. Are there any know problems with the Yamaha 2016 Sr viper mtx 153 se? What should I look for when buying one?

They are good sleds and pretty much just the normal things like clutches, suspension etc, to inspect for wear and tear.
2016 should have the newer mountain specific front-end geometry which improves side hilling and makes off-trail riding easier. If it still has the stock skies, you may want to replace them with wider ones to improve floatation and help keep the front end up in deeper snow.
2016 is also the changeover year for the engine. Depending on if it's an early build or latter build, the early build engines have stronger rods and are easier to turbocharge if that is in your plans. If you don't plan on boosting it, then it doesn't matter so much if it's an early or late build motor.
An easy way to identify if its an early or late build engine is to inspect the area between the valve cover and cylinder head. If it's an early build, it will have Black rubber "half moon" plugs between the valve cover and head about where the camshafts reside. A latter build engine will not have these "half moon" plugs.
