I seem to have a vanishing oil issue with my crankcase. No oil on my garage floor, top up went out did about 350km didn't notice oil on the trail and sight glass empty again?

Any known issues?

Assuming your talking about the chain case? The oil has to be going somewhere? Leaking while your riding as the case heats up? Are you checking the sight glass with the sled on level ground, AND after it has sat for 20 minutes? You will notice when the sled is moving and the chain is spinning around and around the oil will cling to everything within chain case and lower the "level" you see on the sight glass.
Possible that you have a very slight weep hole from a casting imperfection or bad seal that leaks while your riding sled. The chain case temp increases while your riding it.. All the screws around the chain case are snug? Also some have cracked the "ears" on the chain case cover.. These are the tabs so to speak where the screws go through.. Over torqueing the screws can cause this.

Thank you for this info, yes sled was on level ground. Yes correct when saying chaincase. Will dig in a little more to see if possible crack in cover. This is great info for me to start looking.

My 2019 is at the dealer now for the chain case seizing up due to no oil. Has only 500 miles. waiting on parts to get it fixed was talking to the dealer, as of now they have no idea where the oil is going. No signs of leaks anywhere. Case was dry. Hopefully as the get it back together they can figure out where it went. Lmk if you figure it out.

Crazy to think the case is dry.. Like no remnants of the oil being in case at all? If it had oil there HAS TO BE some on the chain and gears and or burned onto the parts inside if it got super hot. Not saying your dealer is wrong.. The oil has to be leaking and showing itself somewhere on these sleds.. Unless it was never filled..

New sled, first miles??if new probably no oil put in, even if it leaked out it would still be coated with oil, not dry and clean.
