Same sled as the T-Cat, except for the fact the MSRP is $4k more. Um, yeah

The SideWinder(and T-Cat) are still by far the most fun money can buy for the type of trails I ride.
No other manufacturer has something I desire more because they simply cannot be reliably brought up to the insane power levels of these machines.
There will be plenty of whining on this website(nothing new) that Yamaha hasn't brought out enough new iron this year, but the same can be said about all the manufacturers. You could actually argue that Yamaha and Cat made more changes than Pol or Doo.
Have a great day.

Pinnin' it!
What a disappointment. At least new owners will have the long list of improvements necessary to make the sleds reliable from this site. Use their yamabucks to stock up on belts!!
Sadly the cat DNA and terrible quality control will always haunt these sleds.
I thought cleaning the pipeline last year meant a new Japanese sled.
Guess that was wishful thinking!

Yes non electric Will lower the 2020 Model front end over the 2019 model.
Should be a bit faster
Also All new 600cc 2 stroke is available at Yamaha in Canada (the European Transporter)
The rear suspension on it is amazing, able to back up a hill now.

I could see Yamaha coming out with an early 2021 Japanese model using the 600cc 2stroke from CAT. Your right, This may be wishful thinking.

Did anyone catch the info on new turbos.....
High Tech Turbo
The Nickel alloy turbine body is extremely strong and precise, able to withstand highly elevated temperatures. Supported by premium, ceramic ball bearings, the Inconel turbine blade assembly is very light and strong. This yields a low moment of inertia for lightning quick response to exhaust gas input. Triple throttle bodies are used exclusively to further enhance the quick delivery of compressed air from the impeller to intake valves.
