early this year someone posted a picture of the new rollover valve on the new 2020. The valve looked to be heated. You guys with the 2020’s can you verify this new valve? Maybe take a few photos. Does anybody know if you can retro fit the new valve for the 17-19.

I do not understand this heated roll over valve for solution. It is snake oil,,,, vent hose will Clog up anyways . If the sled stay outside for a night at -20 the valve will freeze. I think that the pressure in oil tank will blow the seal before the valve thaws.

Agree Byam. Just do bypass and be done with it.

I think the moisture builds while the sled is in operation, so this may actually be a good solution. If there is no moisture building, it doesn't matter how cold it gets at night.
In addition, a manufacturer simply can't vent the crankcase into the atmosphere like many here do, as they have to adhere to environmental regulation. Therefore, calling their solution snake oil is hardly helpful.

Hmm. They better plug all the exhaust pipes shut then too.
Sarcasm....

I took these at the show last spring....Have not seen a recent production model yet.

The rollover valve has changed and the location of it has changed. I just snapped a couple pics but I can't post them because they are too big.

Yes the production 2020s have changed from pre production

A great photo solution I now use which helps sizing, but also free's up space on your phone.

Get the FREE google photos app. I take a ton of pics on my iPhone, they automatically upload to the app whenever I open the app. Then you can delete the photos off phone if you need space. Works from my PC and MAC too.

Then you just use the photo from google photos, as its resized by google to be a nice resolution but not full res. They still look great.

What is the purpose of the rollover valve?
Hank

Prevent oil from escaping (the oil tank) if the sled rolls over, is upside down, etc.
