Here's one thing to consider anyone buying the Mach Z. So far, which has been discussed on other forms is this... Because of the SS shocks, you CANNOT crack the ECU, so all of you have is the tune that it comes with.

So if you get the motor in the other packages without those shocks, there's a chance you can tune it?
Pretty sure it will be cracked. Shocks have separate ecu like iqs. Shame cat decided to use their own. Fox has much better system than iqs.

It took a few years, but I really like my winder on the trails, handling and ride. The front procross is friggin awesome once set to your liking, and ridden the way it wants to be ridden...and the back is pretty darn good too, especially for the wieght.im looking forward to racing them on the trail and lake . Most guys on skidoos are quite sure their skidoo can't be beat in the trail . Now with the Mach coming it's going to be that much more enjoyable beating them ... lol

Holy Moly. This new Doo is really causing some stir, all over the internet!
Glad that Doo is bringing it, with their Flagship SPEED sled.
Much like Yamacat did when they announced the NEW SRX. Made them a bit more special with lower stance and lower lugged tracks for MORE “Lake Racer Speed”!
Choose your weapon and your conditions! For some of us, that’s what sledding has been about for decades now!
It’s getting very easy to make your smooth, deceptively fast sled into a real Trail Animal.., but even so, conditions conditions change what goes best when!

I don't think it's the competition part that's getting some upset. It's the part like let's see a show of hands on who's gonna buy a Mach Z, like I said you are now seeing who the trolls are. I think it is great that Ski Doo is bringing out a $25000.00 Mach Z and I also can't wait to line em up and paddle there azz and send them home wiening like a little girl.
You call it Trolls I call it competition guys I see posting all have a competitive background. Win at all costs. It’s a win win thing for everyone I think.I don't think it's the competition part that's getting some upset. If your tuned you won't need the Anti Lag you should be able to handle the Z very easily. I was going to tune mine this summer but I think now I'm going to leave it alone and see what the outcome will be. I've done a little clutch work and mine seems to run pretty strong 650 miles on it now should be starting to break in by now.

I don't think Ski Doo for one minute is putting out this new Mach Z to lose on the lake, stock Mach vs stock Winder, they did their homework, you can count on it! this new Mach Z is purpose built to run against the stock 998 turbo Winder/thunder Cat, the guy's that ride for BRP have been asking for it and Doo answered their call, Winder guy's should not be blowing your own horns just yet!!

Not taking sides here at all, as I know the 998 is the stronger motor.....
But you are right. BRP has been testing a higher tuned version of their 900t since at least 2019s were released, if not abit longer. And you can bet BRP's test mule was a 998 for certain, and likely an SRX. Their iTC is so touchy, it has ZERO lag, it just snaps. My biggest complaint of my stock Winder was the very docile feel down at bottom, no snap at all. I had a few losses next to 850s and even an Assault when she was bone stock. Its also felt heavy due to the poor snap down low. When Dave came out with Quick spool tunes, that was what turned my Winder into a true animal.
Stock for Stock, IMO it will be close on top speed, SRX has 1" track which makes great MPH on ice, the Mach has rip2 1.25" which is a great track, but should have been a 1" if it wants to run top speeds like a SRX. We think the Mach has 27/45 gearing for 119MPH in theory. SRX we know has more gear.
The 900r down low should have some serious jam. Will be interesting to see the two face off, if you can actually find a BONE STOCK Winder....that may prove to be very difficult. lol
