Yes, that is what I was referring to. It shows the standard GT windshield as 19.25 which is also the dimension they give when you look at the link Buckhorn Billy attached above as tall windshield. I went through this same confusion on my 2017 viper. There was a special model that fit a two-up version of the viper that was taller and wider than the yamaha "tall" windshield. I am hoping that some of the Canadians on this forum would know what the tallest and widest windshield that fits the sidewinder whether it a Yamaha, Cat or aftermarket. I rode two-up for 20 years and along with no fog masks, the large windshields keep my eyeglasses from fogging.

It's also not as wide as the Venture windshield, so I noticed it right away this morning doing sime lake runs at -20. So either need a bigger one, handguards, or the big "mitt bag" style handlebar covers.

No trails open yet, but the family took the new "fleet" out for some lake running this afternoon .

It lists the stock windshield as a "medium" windshield so IMO that would indicate that there is a larger available.

Cameron, west shore. Ice is about 10" until you get too close to the rosedale channel. Already ATVs and SxSs plowing skating rinks and walkways, so it's good. I think as soon as there's a bit more snow they'll stake the trail to the other side where the B103 is.

Try wearing a thinner pair of gloves, I tried that a few years ago and couldn’t believe the difference how hot my hands were while riding.. Those big and bulky warm looking gloves don’t let the heat from the hand warmers get to your hands.

I watched a video on stv I believe where they put spray foam in the handlebar and it was supposed to help the warmers do thier job easier. I haven't tried it myself yet but I am entertaining it.

Other than that I added the skinz heatloc and run a pair of fxr heated gloves. I turn them on early morning and late day. The combo seems to be working ok. I also bought all heated gear and purchased 12v heated glove liners, but haven't tried them out yet

Believe me it’s the gloves.. I’m not sure how it came about but one day I ended up trying a thinner version glove and my hands were burning in extreme temps.. I now use the fxr transfer non heated gloves which are like a mid weight glove and I’ve been more than happy with them in temps down to -30c’s. One thing cat did was make hand warmers that actually get real hot but those thick North Pole gloves block the heat from the hand warmers to your hand.

That's what I use. My old biege klim gloves. Thin on the bottom to transfer heat

Is there a larger windshield that fits the new sidewinder? I was under the understanding from the accessories book that the LTX-GT EPS was shipping with the tallest one available.

the 2020 stx gt came with the tall windshield which was a thinner plexi, I ordered the medium windshield because it is thicker and supposed to cut down the vibration on the mirrors. I'm not sure about the windshield for the LTX-GT but my guess it would be the thinner plexi so you have to spend additional for a stronger windshield that will hold the mirrors...heck, after spending all that hard earned cash on a sled you'd think it would come with mirrors...kinda sucks but I'm sure all manufacturers do the same. Joe

My finger tips sometimes get super cold, so the electric gloves seem to help that. I've rotated the skinz heatloc more towards the bottom, must have been some air coming around and freezing them, now they seem to be better. I've found that with snowmobiling, don't count on any one thing, redundancies are necessary lol. When it comes to being cold, I'll throw every contingency I have available to stay warm.
