today I had my sled at Dynotech and my FULL POWER performance turbo pulled 260 hp on PUMPED gas,,,Justin was great !!!install looks awesome , this is a trail sled, Justin felt he had more left but I decided that it was plenty and very safe, it was a very exciting day for me today,, the money i spent today was the best investment I have ever did since it was the dyno that showed me that my stock fuel pump was actually acting up, so we actually decided to add the high flow pump and VOILA!!!POWER!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Justin and keep the excellent customer service, and I would also say thank you to Jim at the dyno for his patience and accomodation..

Dan this is surely dyno telepathy, your post coincided with mine. Fuel pressure is even more important than turbo boost pressure.
hey dan if only our attacks could make it to rockys without the smell of old dump burning lol safe trip home

Dan,
From my experience in automotive testing, your stock fuel pump in the tank is weak because you ran it out of fuel a few times on the trail. Car fuel pumps in the tanks don't fare very well after running out of fuel once or twice, no lube or cooling because they are a flow thru type. I believe that Yamaha OEM fuel pumps are similar.
I told you that what you'd learn on that dyno was invaluable.

Ah, then that is something that needs to be checked closely on every injected & boosted sled...
That is unusual for Yamaha to have such range in a purchased part like that pump. Usually they demand consistency in a critical component, because fuel pressure affects so many things like warranty, driveability, emissions, etc.
DynoTech Jim is correct, I agree dash mount easy-to-read fuel pressure gages are in order...
By the way, Justin is Full Power "Performance" and not "Sports", I think that is a different company.

Dan,
When you get that fuel pressure issue straightened out, that setup should "sneak" 280HP.
Have fun on the trail with it...

Thats great to hear, and I only hear good things about Justin and Full Power Performance. You guys in the east are lucky to have someone like that available to you (and Jim at Dynotech) as well.
