Have 2019 SRX sidewinder , it's at the hole closet to the rear of the sled .Have curve ski looking to take some ski pressure off for steering, curves work well just a bit heavy . Have adjusted coils on front shocks , and added more tension to front shock also if I put in lower front hole will that take pressure off front

Never rode with stock ski as I hated the tuner ski on my 2015 viper

I would not move that rod.
What are your other adjustments at?
Do the bars turn hard when the skis are off the ground?
Curve skis are pretty aggressive and may be a part of your hard steering
With proper set up these sleds steer nice and easy.

When I got my 2020 xtx, I immediately put on c&a xcs skis. It was so hard to turn, I ran out of adjustment on all the springs, and ordered a stingray spring. Well shipping took way too long and I got impatient and installed stealth skiis. I liked the stealth skiis so much that I never took them off to try out the c&a skis once I installed the stingray (they are a real pain to install, the rubber pad is extremely tight, took me about 3 hours to install by myself)

What I am trying to say is that you may run out of adjustment like I did and need to go with a heavier center spring to make those skiis work. Part of me wants to try the c&a skiis again but they are a pita and I really like the stealth skiis

Front shock in picture can't go higher anymore as it was rubbing on coil (paint off in picture) so I went back down on Nut, , back 3 postion block is on softest one , to help front end off ground.the iqs electric shock I run between medium and firm. Front end hardly comes off ground due to 1 in track even with 144 studs , im 6-2 140 lbs without gear , I can turn it any speed it follows , just should be a little easier .will try tuner with dual 4 in carbide never had on curves went on right at dealers. The curves are 4 in carbides singles. And the front skid shock have extended to try put less pressure on ski

You could be correct on the center needing to be heavier, not sure if there different one on the xtx than the srx as it was lowered for better cornering on trails . I know for sure my wife's pro s I can almost zoom through trails 1 hand

I would leave the front and rear suspension mount holes in the stock positions.
When my sled was new the first thing I did was get rid of my stock Tuner skis, because they did not work well and in some conditions they were dangerous.
I chose the Curve ski which works well in all snow conditions. I added the Slim Jim 6” dual carbides which steered as hard as the stock Tuners with the stock carbides. I tried many things to make it steer easier, and the best that I found was limiter strap setting with little as possible ski spring force.
I came up with limiter set at second hole from the end which gives it easy steering while in the throttle, but not so much that skis are always in the air for no steering at all when in the throttle, which is what the last setting will do.

Last season I put 4” SJ on, and that made a huge difference in steering force.
Pick the front end of your sled up and adjust the shock spring pressure while your skis are dangling to two turns past no pressure on the spring. That way you will have slight pressure on the spring so when in the air on trails the springs will always have slight pressure on them. And yes to running a tight center shock spring pressure to help keep the sled from adding ski pressure when letting off throttle!

Good luck with your steering adjustments, and I will say, you have my favorite SRX year in the 19! Slung low and my favorite color combo yet!

Just my 2 cents whereas my 17 Winder is made with a higher center of gravity, but the things I mentioned are a good place to start.

Limiter strap is on the longest setting now, unless I take right off . My thinking was moving the bolt hole for the front suspension to the hole lower to the ground would help putting the front suspension up in turn lifting front sled , I could be 100 percent wrong . I assume your referring to the front shocks,Can't loosen front is coils any softer as I had it there as the piggy back part rubbed a bit of paint off the coil. Posted the picture of front shock you can see the white paint missing

Strap won't go any longer , shortening bring front down for more pressure , maybe take right out , any thoughts

Do the bars turn hard when the skis are off the ground?
Did you check this? Some need the steering block greased and loosened. My 2017 RTX and my buddies 2020 T-Cat turned very hard with the skis off the ground. We had to grease and loosen both upper steering blocks.
Like Motorhead said, the Slimjim carbides really help. I have run them for @15k miles.
I tried the Stingray center spring in my 2017 RTX 129 and did not like what it did to the ride quality. I am 209 lbs 12 oz. I cant imagine what it would do at your size.

I am running snowtrackers on c&a skis with 160lb spring from cannondale. I am very happy with this setup.
If I was you I would put on slim Jim's or snowtrackers and most likely need to change center spring to cannondales or cat 260 spring. Cat spring will have to go on upside down if your center shock has a reservoir.

With sled on hoist can turn with one finger . Not sure what or whose carbides are on ski they put them on at the Toronto show in 2018 , before the 2019 sled come in .maybe need to go to a suspension specialist on ontario

Would not take the limiter off whereas you will damage the center shock by over extending it I’ve heard.

I will not remove , most sleds in the past if pull down one or two holes from stock . I'll add more spring load on center shock couple of turns put the stock skis on with 4 in carbides , just so I can see the difference. First trip and bring the curves ski with me. Trouble is never get much snow in deep south of Ontario to do little test
