Would anyone happen to know what the numbers are on a stock mountain Apex helix? and is the stock mountain apex a 39 degree and if so is it stamped 8BV11 or 8BV51?

Looking them up on the film it shows a part number of 8BV-17604-51-00 for a 2006 - 2010 mountain Apex so I assume that's the 8BV51 but is that a 39 degree helix?

I was told by Ulmer that an easy inexpensive swap to run a trail Apex or Vector at elevation is to run a "stock mountain 39 degree helix" to bring the rpm's up a bit, but I forgot to ask him what number stamping that is on the helix...

Anyone know if that would work (the 39 degree helix) on a 136 Vector and a 128 Apex for high elevation?

Thanks! ;)!

8bv91 on the 39* helix.

Thanks for the quick reply. Any idea what the 8BV51 is?

V51 is a 45*.

V71= 47*
V31= 43*
V11= 41*
V91= 39*
V90= 39* for VK10's. The ID mark is V91 but the part# starts with a 8FN
8BVFA= 51/43*

8BV51 is a 45*. All the ID#'s stamped on the helix start with 8BV. The older phazer ones are different I think??
