5th Annual McCall Ride

I can't believe you forgot me. Count me in.

J.

And I am pretty sure Frostbite wants to come along. Do you have an extra room for him?

Man we have been slammed in these last two storms. I woke up to an easy 18 inches of new snow in my driveway this morning and it is still snowing.

I bet your setup is better than you claim ;)!

I added an attendees list to the first post in this thread so we know who is coming.

It runs ok and beats up on my 2 stroke buddies which is all I care about. I finally got the clutching a little better this week. But it has been a grueling process. The last switch was to the 14.6 rollers and that got rid of my engine braking, which I really liked. Is that normal???

So would really like to try somebody elses ride to see if I'm even close on tuning it.

Also kinda worried that my blower may not be making all 10lbs now that I'm not afraid to try the top end. Only seeing 8lbs on the gauge.

Hows that McCall snow doing? We've been getting dumped on big time! ;)!
Hopefully all of the passes will be open, so we can get there.
Also to let you know, our 3rd guy bailed on us. Had his turbo blow an oil seal. :o|

Went riding on Friday and that was some of the deepest snow I have seen in a LONG time. It has been warmer the last few days so the snow is setting up quite a bit. It is supposed to cool back down and possibly give us more snow mid week.

What day are you planning to be here?

We are heading out Friday morning. Should roll into town around 7:00-8:00PM. Usually takes about 10hrs, however we'll be making a quick visit to see my daughter at WSU on the way. :jump:
We'll be in town to ride Sat thru Tues. If anyone want's to ride another couple of days after the weekend, we're up for it! ;)!

Bill

We are looking to ride 2 of the 3 days this weekend.
Any tenative riding plans outlined yet?

Well I made it back from another epic ride in McCall. First I wanted to give a BIG thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Spray for their great hospitality and for putting up with me for another weekend. That is a big task w/in itself.
For those of you who have ever thought about partaking in this ride I have posted some pics of the beautiful scenery. Nothing but open and sparsley treed areas to play.
I also wanted to thank everyone who went out with us. (Ray, Christy, Ryan, Jill, Slade, Bill, Franz, Chad, Bob and Rob) It was great seeing everyone again and to meet new faces.
Can't wait until next year!!!!!

You are welcome here anytime, Jon. We love having you.

I think everyone had a good time and lots of laughs. Heck you didn't even get stuck much this year!!

I'm sorry Frostbite didn't make it. Maybe see if you guys can find a free weekend here soon?

Seems like I didn't take many pictures, but here are couple......

Hey, that's not fair. I was helping someone when that happened. But this was my view from above. :moon:

Looks like a good time. Really wish I had made it. Just too many things in the way and it just was not meant to be this year, Will plan on it next year for sure.. :yam:
