Adding 12V electronics and GPS mounting locations - 07 Attak

Thanks. I got it done tonight. Weather tight shrink connectors and then heat shrink tubing on top of that. What I ended up doing was putting the male Ctek Charger wire at the end of the extension lead off the battery. Then using a female connector from Ctek (an extension lead I had) I connected that to the GPS lead.

When I plug them together it's water tight (O-ring in plug) and when I want to charge or top off the battery I unplug the GPS and plug in the charger.

Perfect since honestly I don't want the GPS plugged in while the Ctek charger is doing its thing. Everything is in split loom for protection and securely strapped in place and not touching anything in that compartment. Easy access when I need it by pulling the hood.

Got the unit installed on the riser. Came out nice.

I actually like the way your mount setup came out and think I will go that route when putting one on the new Apex.
