I am running 24 / 40 with 70 link chain and I really dont need the tensioner the chain and gears just barely slides on. I went from 21 / 40 70 link which is stock and there is a good gain in top end speed going to the 24 top. My hook up I find is better too now that I dont just sit and spin anymore.
