Air filter Maintenance for 2008 Apex

After taking the sled apart for oil filter change, I noticed oil in the bottom of the airbox. Is this air filter oil? or did it come through the breather? should I clean the filter and oil it or just clean it?

Some engine oil tends to come back out the BREATHER hose, that black one on 1 side which is normal to a certain extent, these HIGH reving motors tend to vaporise the oil at higher rev's and come out the breather hose...

I pull the air box off and clean mine out with SPRAY NINE/SIMPLE GREEN any type of oil/grease cutting agent, then rinse with hot water and let it dry...same goes for FOAM filter.
