Just did a big upgrade on my '23 MTX and wanted to share.
Installed an Alpha 154 x 3" track. Swapped to 3.5" drivers.
Installed Syncrodrive with MTX gear ratio.
The track has about an inch clearance from the front cooler. I cut the holes using a template and a multi-tool, and reused the clips. I really liked the Challenger Extreme, it just wasn't enough for those deep days.
3.5" pitch is gonna help too.
Now I have to be seriously careful when accelerating after a cold start. Lot of weight gone, it should feel snappier. The kit includes a new sealed top bearing and a seal for the lower bearing. Then there's a shorter jackshaft and super lite belt gears. Oil tank internals are trimmed down to accept a flat cover. Speed sensor is put on a belt adjuster bracket. Really neat stuff, I loved spending the entire week in my garage setting this up.
I got the job done just in time to miss the season this side of the lake. Now to figure out what to do with those reverse wires.

That track looks awesome. The belt drive has crossed my mind a few times. But I use reverse way too much, too bad someone didn’t come out with belt drive reverse mechanism.

The paddles on this should hold up pretty well, can't think of a better track in deep snow. I only ever use reverse in the garage or when unloading. I'll just put it on wheels in the garage, and use a winch to pull it backwards into the trailer, maybe build something to make it easier to pull of the pickup bed

Yes that track is amazing in deep snow.
Did a full alpha conversion on a 2018 King Cat which is pretty much a sidewinder with Arctic Cat clutches ,Cat Country had the conversion kit on special .
Also have a 2017 sidewinder with a hurricane 270 kit and to be honest I don't even want to turn up the king cat due to the traction and maneuverability of the alpha setup as far as sliding out not that big a deal wrote it winter and spring cracks held up for 2000 miles can't beat it cheaper than a new sled.
Let a friend of mine who has a 270 sidewinder take it for a ride he did the same conversion on his just use avid drivers pretty impressive sleds with that track set up and you can't beat that skid.
You will definitely enjoy the ride.
