My son and I finally got our first ride in the past Friday, but it almost never happened due to a dead/drained battery while trying to unload the sleds. Luckily a guy just driving in to check out the Club House had a set of booster cables with him!
Anyways, it's time for a new battery as this one is now 8 yrs old, and obviously finished (I did charge it every month in the off season)
The battery I just took out is this: Yuasa YTX 20L-BS 12v 18AH. My question is, when ordering a new one, is this the one I should order or has there been a updated new one? Not looking to go any bigger in size, just want a direct replacement for this one but curious if a newer one has more Cold cranking amps or something else that has been updated in the last 8 yrs?
Thanks, appreciate any info/numbers etc.

Yuasa YTX 20HL-BS is the higher performance version, or stick with the same one that you have.

That's good to know thrasher. When its time to change mine I may go with the battery you mentioned. Can never have too many CCA.

Thanks Trasher. I see it is the exact same size, only your's has more CCA's and is 2lbs heavier. I will be ordering the one mentioned regardless of the extra 2 lbs.
Appreciate the info.
