another oil question

Can i run Castrol Syntec in my Apex mtx? Costco has it at a decent price, i usually use Amsoil power sport 0-30, the castor is 5-20 i think. Thanks.

I wouldn't run a 20 weight oil in mine.

To thin of an oil? I am really just checking to see if Syntec is a decent oil or not, usually comes on sale here for a good price.

Probably nothing wrong with syntec but 20 weight is thinner than I'd want to run in my motor. I think they are spec'd for 30 and many run 40 especially with turbo.

you'll be fine with the 20 on a stock motor. personally I like yamalube 0-30 or the Amsoil
