Apex Error 12 and Stator Replacement

I encountered error 12 last weekend after the sled wouldn't start anymore. We found it to be the Crankshaft position Sensor. We also found that a whole stator replacement was needed because it wasn't available separately.

The dealer is charging me 4 hours.

Is this the correct amount of time. Seems a bit much to me

I thought they pull the side and top panel,disconnect connect drain the oil tank and pull of the cover and replace...

almost 800 dollars later...

Did they have to pull the motor?

I did mine to my old sled before this season. Took me 2 hours tops...
Side panel and lower side panel, oil tank, side cover w/ approx. 14 4mm allen head bolts 5 bolts inside cover, reroute wires, reassemble.
Pretty easy to do if you ask me. I think it took me 2 hours w/ replacing the oil filter as well.
