I accidentally posted this in another forum, so if you read this there, Sorry!
I have a very loud howling noise coming from the track/rear end somewhere at speeds between 40 & 75 mph.
I know the trail conditions sucked here, but it did the same thing last season as well in better conditions as well. At times, the noise can be louder than the exhaust. Does this sound normal, or does anybody else have the same thing? What can I do to eliminate this nusance???
Nate
I have a noise at the same speeds. I believe it is an exhaust howl at 6000-8000 rpm problem. I've just learned to live with it. I believe my other sleds as well as my friends sleds also have "noises" as they are all 2 strokes. These 4 strokes run so quietly that we are hearing normal noises.
I noticed the same noise with both my stock pipes, and my Bender pipes, It hasn't gotten worse, but I'm wondering if it has to do with the track style on low snow conditions???
