I ordered a GT this spring and I know a lot of people are interested in the weight of the Apex so here it is 651# full of gas ready to ride with a set of powermadd handguards installed and a Garmin Etrex with a Ram mount so make it 649#. I figure this is how I ride them so dry weight doesn't mean much to me. I have been a life long ski-doo rider and still have my 2002 MXZX 700R, but it was time for a new sled (The rev chassie just hasn't tripped my trigger) and the Apex GT was the closest sled I found that felt like my 700 and even better. Anyway I thought a comparission was in order. The MXZX which supposedly had a dry weight of 472# weighed in at 596# full of gas and a ripsaw track and 144 studs. I know that studs weigh a little and I will be adding them to the GT but I am even happier of the choice I made this spring because that isn't a huge difference especially with the added horsepower.
Hey Mr. Sled. I finally posted something and I was thinking that instead of putting Newby by my name how about Extreme Lurker.
