Apex mountain bar.

Was there an update for the mountain bar on the apex, or have people been changing them out for a different kind? The stock one is pretty much worthless in my opinion because it isn't that high, and I occasionally hit the kill switch when going to the right side. I have seen taller ones in pics as I have searched through the forums. Have people been adapting different aftermarket grab bars? Powermadd? Polaris?

not unless you do some series grinding on them stock bars!

The stockers have the bosses welded on them and you can't get another strap to fit properly in my experience and I've tried several, the 2006' model had a taller stock middle grab strap that was much better but it tended to brake after 1500 hard miles, so they went to another shorter version. CR racing makes there own bars, risers and they are nice but spendy!

The Polaris will fit. As will some others. You don't use the stock fittings to bolt the bar down. They use a simple U-bolt. These are much taller and stiffer.
