Noticed the other day that my rear shock cable was broken. Must have been from ice build up!!!
Question is....I wont have time to replace it right now before my next u.p. ride, so will it be ok to leave as is? Will the shock adjust up or down on its own or is there resistance in the shock it self that will not allow that to happen ??

I would say it would be ok. Might want to cover the shock opening some how though.

Ya just put some grease in it to keep water out and make a little cover. A lot of people have this problem and they just set it to where they like and leave it.
