Have an older '06 Apex with the white face gauges but have always liked the newer black face gauge...has anyone tried swapping out the old one for the new style? (Did not come up with anything on the thread search).
I agree. The newer speedo face with the black and red looks better. Maybe Travis ( Barn of Parts) will see this thread and enlighten us if this works

Yes if anyone has tried it I would be interested. I have never had much luck getting ahold of Travis....he must be a very busy guy

Will not work, newer gauges have the power steering.
Maybe one can take them apart and faces and plastics. Leave the electronics alone??

Or...could you get the connector with replacement speedo and compare pins and re-pin/use only the relevant circuits to operate the newer style speedo? May be able to compare the wiring diagrams between the two sleds. I guess how bad do you want to do this....
