I found the easy fix for the tunnel protectors, they seem to be flexing on there own mounting brackets on a hard compression bump allowing the clearance to the muffler to go below minimums and studs can touch.
Just pu two 8mm coupling nuts , remove rear muffler mounting bolts , put nuts (cut to lenght ) between tunnel protector and nut for rear muffler mount. Use 20mm longer 8mm bolts to bolt muffler baqck in place , the extra thread will thread into the coupler nut ! put seat back on , Done.
