First question ,,
I pulled my chain case all apart to change the bushing to a DMC with 22 gear and the shift fork pads I put it all back together and at first the sled will start in reverse and I could shift it from there into fourward gear.

Ipulled the shift actuator out and manually I went and shifted it into forward hit the throttle and the track wouldn't spin at all like it was jammed I called a couple dealers and spoke with technicians that said it was probably the splines on my gears that were worn not allowing engagement so I pulled the chain case cover off and inspected everything and checked the mesh of the gears and everything looks fine.. what is wrong

Second question.....
I've switched to an XS825belt being as I had Max spool 17 installed I upgraded the spring in my secondary and primary and I had it apart I put my secondary back together and installed it and well trying to put the belt on I noticed that I couldn't really get the Helix to open up with the 12 mil wrench method it was very difficult to get the belt on but I'm thinking maybe the clutch is together wrong? I had it running and it revved up and seemed like I had engagement and then that's when I discovered my reverse issue.

A friend of mine had a reverse issue like this after maintenance a few years back and it was a result of him putting the top gear in backwards.
Obviously the problem showed up after you worked on it so I would suggest backtracking and starting over and confirming all the correct assembly is done.

If its plastic grinding (you would know if it is metal) it is probably from that crappy reverse actuator. They have plastic gears and you can either repair it or replace it. Repairing it is pretty straightforward, pull it apart, rotate the gear to a good spot, put a new one on order anyhow as you are going to need it eventually, then put it back together.

After reading all the horror stories on the cheap plastic gears in the actuators I was surprised to find metal gears in mine when I opened it up.

Mine also has metal gears I believe the problem lies within the secondary I'm going to become a VIP member and download a manual figure out what I did wrong

If you changed out the secondary spring to a stiffer spring it will harder to push open the secondary to change/ install belt. Guessing that’s why you’re saying it seems harder to open. Might not be assembled incorrectly at all. It’s a stiffer spring that’s maybe throwing you off.
